A simple dog stew recipe with beef, carrots, sweet potato and broccoli for a great dinner.
INGREDIENTS
1 lb stewing beef chunks
1 sweet potato or white potato
1 carrot
1 broccoli
2 tablespoons coconut oil
1 cup water
INSTRUCTIONS
Cut the beef into small, bitesize chunks
Peel and dice the sweet potato into small chunks (similar in size to the beef).
Peel and dice the carrot.
Chop the broccoli into pieces, including the stem.
Heat the coconut oil in a medium saucepan on a medium heat.
Add the beef chunks and lightly sauté for 5 minutes until there is no pink.
Add in the diced vegetables and water and bring to the boil.
Cover and simmer for 20 minutes until the vegetables are cooked through.
Allow to cool before serving.
Makes 6 medium servings of 1 cup per serving. (It may vary depending on the size of the meat and vegetable chunks).
