Turkey and Vegetable Stew

Imagine a savory symphony of turkey, veggies, and barley, simmered to perfection in a pot, tantalizingly wafting through the air, promising a bowlful of pure delight with every wag of the tail.



Ingredients:

  • 1 pound of ground turkey

  • 1 cup of diced carrots

  • 1 cup of peas

  • 1 cup of diced zucchini

  • 1 cup of barley

  • 1 tablespoon of flaxseed oil


Instructions:

  1. In a large pot, cook the ground turkey until browned. Drain any excess fat.

  2. Add 4 cups of water and bring to a boil.

  3. Add the barley and reduce the heat to a simmer. Cook for about 30 minutes until barley is tender.

  4. Add the carrots, peas, and zucchini. Cook for an additional 10-15 minutes until vegetables are tender.

  5. Stir in the flaxseed oil.

  6. Let the stew cool before serving to your dog.
