How do you know when you love someone?

How to Recognize True Love: Signs You've Found Your Soul Mate.

Is it a feeling, a choice, a commitment, or something else? I've been wondering about this for a long time, and I think I've finally found an answer. For me, loving someone means wanting them to be happy, even if it means sacrificing your own happiness.

It means being there for them, supporting them, and respecting them.

It means accepting them for who they are, flaws and all.

It means being honest, loyal, and faithful.

It means being willing to grow with them, learn from them, and change for them. It means being able to say sorry, forgive, and move on.

It means being able to laugh with them, cry with them, and share your deepest thoughts and feelings with them.

It means being able to trust them, rely on them, and depend on them. It means being able to give them space, freedom, and independence.

It means being able to compromise, negotiate, and cooperate.

It means being able to handle conflicts, disagreements, and arguments.

It means being able to celebrate their successes, comfort their failures, and encourage their dreams.

It means being able to make them smile, make them feel special, and make them feel loved. It means being able to say "I love you" and mean it with all your heart.

I think love is more than just a feeling. It's a moral choice. You decide to love someone even when they are not perfect, even when they hurt you, even when you disagree. You choose to be faithful, kind, and supportive. You choose to grow together and learn from each other. You choose to forgive and forget. That's how you know you really love someone. It's not a question of emotion, but of commitment.
