The Napkin Religion is not an actual religion, but a cultural system. There are no designated behaviors and practices, morals, worldviews, texts, sanctified places, prophecies, or ethics, it is an organization of open minded people, that DO NOT relate humanity to the supernatural, transcendental, or any other spiritual elements. However, there is no scholarly consensus over what precisely constitutes a religion, so as it was written on the napkin, as in the bible, so it is...

We don’t want you to think like us, just think...

The Napkin Religion  is a place for those who have become disillusioned with their faith, and the so called people of faith. But, still have a strong sense of spirituality. No rules or commandments to follow here, just a place to talk about the purpose of life, and reverence to the planet and Universe. All are welcome to be empathetic to their fellow human beings.  However we do have concerns with those who do not accept fact as truth.

We are a true ministry, Ordained by the Universal Life Church, sound good right? We even have the papers to prove it. We believe, every individual is free to practice their religion in the manner of their choosing, as mandated by the First Amendment, and current laws, so long as that expression does not impinge upon the rights or freedoms of others and is in accordance with the government’s laws, and that it does not seek to change them to alien with their ideologies.

Our central belief is that the universe and nature should be regarded with the deepest reverence, and nature should be treated with the deepest respect.  Our ministry is a natural home for those who have the same orientation, whatever terms they use to call themselves. 

Our beliefs and values embody the following basic principles:
Reverence, awe, wonder and a feeling of belonging to Nature and the wider Universe.Respect and active care for the rights of all humans and other living beings.Promotion of religious tolerance, freedom of religion and complete separation of state and religion.

Our Ministry exists to promote these beliefs and values, to make earth-honoring life-affirming naturalistic beliefs widely available as a spiritual option and a rational alternative to traditional religions, to facilitate networking among reverent naturalists, and to encourage formation of local groups
