Beef Stew for Dogs

A simple dog stew recipe with beef, carrots, sweet potato and broccoli for a great dog's dinner.

INGREDIENTS

• 1 lb stewing beef chunks

• 1 sweet potato or white potato

• 1 carrot

• 1 broccoli

• 2 tablespoons coconut oil

• 1 cup water

INSTRUCTIONS

• Cut the beef into small, bitesize chunks

• Peel and dice the sweet potato into small chunks (similar in size to the beef).

• Peel and dice the carrot.

• Chop the broccoli into pieces, including the stem.

• Heat the coconut oil in a medium saucepan on a medium heat.

• Add the beef chunks and lightly sauté for 5 minutes until there is no pink.

• Add in the diced vegetables and water and bring to the boil.

• Cover and simmer for 20 minutes until the vegetables are cooked through.

• Allow to cool before serving.

Makes 6 medium servings of 1 cup per serving. (It may vary depending on the size of the meat and vegetable chunks).
