One of the last films of Bela Lugosi, the amazing thriller actor, takes a comedic role as the maniacal Dr. Zabor. Dr. Zabor is conducting experiments that attempt to combine humans with the indigenous animals of the isolated island of Cola-Cola. When two limelight entertainers from New York are accidentally dropped on the island by the military, they are met with mutant spectacles worthy of not just a laboratory, but a Broadway showcase. Some of the island mutants are fabulously beautiful island girls who enrage Dr. Zabor with their surprising interest in the island's guests.
