Ingredients:
2 medium potatoes, peeled and diced
1/2 cup diced cooked ham
1/4 cup sliced carrots
1 stalk of celery sliced
1 cup water
1 teaspoon onion power
2 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
3 cups half and half
1/8 teaspoon celery salt
Dash of pepper
Paprika and minced fresh parsley for garnish
Directions:
Place the diced potatoes, sliced carrots and celery and water in a saucepan. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat. Cover and cook until the potatoes and carrots are tender. Drain and set aside.
Melt butter in a pan
Stir in the flour until well blended.
Gradually add the milk, stirring constantly. Bring the mixture to a boil and cook for 2 minutes or until thickened.
Reduce the heat and add the cooked potatoes, ham, celery, carrots, celery salt, and pepper. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes or until heated through.
Serve warm, sprinkled with minced fresh parsley and a dash of paprika.
