The Art of the Cell

In the land of orange, a tale to be told,

Of a man with a hairpiece, so brash and bold.

He claimed to be rich, a tremendous success,

But his deeds and his words caused quite a mess.

Donald Trump, with a swagger and a sneer,

In the halls of justice, he did appear.

With a lifetime of lies and a trail of deceit,

It was time for his reckoning, his day in the heat.

He boasted of walls, of a great border wall,

But his real walls were closing, he was facing the fall.

His tweets and his tirades, they could not save,

Him from the truth, from the justice he'd crave.

The courtroom was packed, with spectators galore,

As the evidence mounted, he sank to the floor.

For the tax fraud, the hush money, and so much more,

His empire of falsehoods began to crumble and roar.

His lawyers, like clowns, tried to spin the tale,

But the jury saw through it, they couldn't prevail.

And as the gavel came down, it was clear to all,

That justice had spoken, and he'd take the fall.

So off to the jailhouse, with a grimacing frown,

The man who once wore a presidential crown.

But in the end, the truth did prevail,

And Donald Trump's legacy was a tale of his jail.

The moral of this poem is that no one is above the law, regardless of their wealth, power, or status. It emphasizes the importance of accountability and justice in a society. The poem highlights how even those who wield significant influence can face consequences for their actions when they engage in dishonesty and deception. Ultimately, it serves as a reminder that the principles of truth and fairness should prevail, and that justice should be blind to a person's social or political standing.
