Proud Boy Santos, Greene's New BFF?

Who knows, Greene does look, and act like the kind of person you'd see on Pornhub.

While it may seem contradictory for Marjorie Taylor Greene to befriend George Santos, if it was not a republican, she would not be so chummy. Santos is one of 11 out LGBTQ+ members of the House of Representatives and the only one advancing an anti-LGBTQ+ equality agenda. The other 10 LGBTQ+ House members are Democrats.

Which makes his association with the Proud Boys, a group known for their opposition to LGBTQ rights, even stranger than his relationship with Greene? While the Proud Boys are opposed to it, there a most likely gay men on the down low. Seems Like George may know who they are too.

Santos has denied, and we know how truthful he is, being a member of the Proud Boys, but he has been seen at events with Proud Boys members, and has defended the group against accusations of racism and extremism.

Santos has acknowledged that he has attended events with members of the Proud Boys, but has denied being a member of the group himself. He has said that he supports the group's mission to promote "Western values," but has distanced himself from some of their more extreme actions, such as their involvement in violent clashes with left-wing activists. Maybe, he's into the rough stuff, and thought it would be a good place to pick up some strange?

In one interview, he said, "I have nothing but respect for the Proud Boys and what they do. They're not a hate group, they're not a white supremacist group. They're a group of men who are standing up for Western values." with the conservative media outlet Newsmax in October 2020.

It is worth noting that the Proud Boys have been labeled a hate group by the Southern Poverty Law Center, and have been involved in several violent incidents, including the January 6th insurrection at the U.S. Capitol.

While Santos has distanced himself from some of the group's more extreme actions, his association with them has drawn criticism from those who see the group as a threat to democracy and civil society.
