Yet, there exists a disturbing and unsettling disconnect between those who champion anti-abortion laws in the name of safeguarding the unborn and their apparent indifference when it comes to protecting the lives and rights of LGBTQ+ youth. This article aims to shed light on this perplexing contradiction, highlighting the importance of consistency in the fight for life and rights.
The Battle for the Unborn
Proponents of anti-abortion laws emphasize the sanctity of life, asserting that every fetus has a right to life. They argue that it is their moral obligation to protect the most vulnerable, even if it means restricting a woman's right to choose. While the protection of unborn lives is indeed an important cause, the same fervor for safeguarding life should extend to all stages of life, including the lives of LGBTQ+ youth.
LGBTQ+ Youth at Risk
