Fraud for Fun and Profit

Fraud: where the poor get punished, and the rich call it 'innovation'.

Kevin O'Leary's dismissal of Donald Trump's fraud charges as a common practice among real estate developers is both misguided and dangerous. While it may be true that such practices occur frequently within the industry, it does not absolve Trump or any other individual from accountability under the law.

O'Leary's assertion overlooks the fundamental principle that legality does not equate to morality or ethical conduct. Fraud, regardless of whether it directly harms an individual or not, undermines trust in financial systems and erodes the integrity of business transactions. Even victimless fraud perpetuates a culture of deceit and dishonesty, ultimately harming society as a whole.

By condoning such behavior, O'Leary inadvertently perpetuates a harmful narrative that undermines the very fabric of justice and integrity in business practices.

... and yes, some other stars of Shark Tank have expressed negative opinions about Kevin O'Leary.

"In the world of the wealthy, fraud is just a fancy term for 'creative accounting' and the unseen benefit? A VIP pass to the justice system's 'ethics optional' lounge."
