Connections between Extremist Groups and the Republican Party

The rise of extremist groups like the Oath Keepers and the Proud Boys, and the republican's involvement with them does raise legitimate concerns, about the motives of the republican party?

In recent years, the rise of certain far-right groups such as the Oath Keepers and the Proud Boys has raised concerns about their activities and potential impact on society. These groups have adopting paramilitary-like tactics and aligning themselves with an accepting Republican Party.

The Republican Party was a diverse entity with a wide range of members, each with their own set of beliefs and priorities. However, today the party holds views aligned with extremist groups, and conspiracy theorists that it would be accurate to label the entire party as complicit in their actions, and a danger to our nation.

Terrorism is characterized by the deliberate use of violence to create fear and promote a political, ideological, or religious agenda. The actions and statements by these extremist groups are acts of violence that should be classified as domestic terrorism.

The foundation of any democracy lies in the principles of free speech, freedom of assembly, and the right to express one's beliefs, no matter how controversial they may be. While it is necessary to address extremist ideologies, it is equally important to protect these democratic values. January 6, is clear evidence of direct involvement of these groups in violent acts that will erode the principles that underpin our society.

Groups like the Oath Keeper and the Proud Boys are a para-military force for the Republican Party, these groups along with the Republican Party should be seen as domestic terrorist.
