The "Christian nationalism" movement is coming and should "terrify" Americans concerned about democracy
Religions often define a culture’s behaviors, morals and customs, affecting all walks of life. Music, art, marriage, funerals, holiday celebrations — you name it, religion often casts its influence one way or another. But when it comes to religions of the world, how many do you know? There are hundreds of religions that you have likely never even heard of. These religions date as far back as several-thousand years to as recently as just 60 years ago.
So, which ones are the most popular and have the most influence on your freedoms?

Governments, know it they can get religion leaders on their side, they can have more influence on the masses. Which is becoming very apparent in the United States, with White Christian Nationalist, or MAGA, controlling a political party. It all started with the Moral Majority Movement, an American political organization that was founded in 1979 by Jerry Falwell. Thomes Paine tried to worn us, in the Age of Reason, about people like Falwell.
I do not believe in the creed professed by the Jewish Church, by the Roman Church, by the Greek Church, by the Turkish Church, by the Protestant Church, nor by any Church that I know of. My own mind is my own Church. [ The Age of Reason]
Priests and conjurors are of the same trade. [ The Age of Reason]
The Bible is a book that has been read more and examined less than any book that ever existed. [The Theological Works of Thomas Paine]
All national institutions of churches, whether Jewish, Christian, or Turkish, appear to me no other than human inventions, set up to terrify and enslave mankind, and monopolize power and profit. [The Age of Reason]
