Identity Evropa is pushing its members to stealthily infiltrate Republican politics to move the party toward its agenda.

Identity Evropa, rebranded as American Identity Movement in March 2019, was an American neo-Nazi and white supremacist extremist organization established in March 2016. The group is identified as a white supremacist organization by the Anti-Defamation League and is designated by the Southern Poverty Law Center as a hate group.

Identity Evropa gained notoriety when it helped organize the Unite the Right rally in Charlottesville, Virginia. The group follows strict appearance rules: no visible tattoos, good grooming, only conservative clothing. When chatting up young people at events like CPAC, they know it's crucial to look the part of your typical Republican booster.

Groups like Identity Evropa represent a new wave of white supremacists who are more sophisticated and strategic than their predecessors. These are very smart, very savvy groups and that's one of the things that differentiates them from groups of the past. You can't just write them off as ignorant thugs.
