There's a Boy Who's Seen as Wrong

by Belle Webb

In a world of black and white,

There's a boy who's seen as wrong,

He knows his truth, but it's a fight,

In a world that can't belong.

He wears the clothes that feel right,

But they say it's just a phase,

He tries to speak, but he's too tight,

In a society that's set in its ways.

He dreams of a world that's kind,

Where he can be who he is,

But he's stuck in a world that's blind,

To the pain that he can't dismiss.

He's told he's sick, he's told he's wrong,

But he knows who he truly is,

He longs for a place where he belongs,

In a world that's filled with bliss.

He stands tall and fights each day,

In a world that can't understand,

He knows his truth, and he won't sway,

As he takes a stand.

He's a hero to those who see,

The struggle that he goes through,

And as he lives his truth so free,

He shows the world what's true.

So let us all stand by his side,

And fight for a world that's fair,

Where we can all live with pride,

And show that we all truly care.
