In a world of fur and wagging tails,
Where joy abounds and laughter sails,
Dogs make me happy, oh so true,
Their antics brighten skies so blue.
But when it comes to humans near,
My head does ache, I hold it dear,
Their complex thoughts and endless chatter,
Leave my poor brain in quite the splatter.
Dogs fetch sticks with glee and glee,
Their loyalty's as deep as the sea,
Humans, though, in their quest for meaning,
Leave my head spinning, thoughts careening.
A pup's simple gaze, a wagging tail,
Innocence and love prevail,
Yet humans' minds, so intricate,
Can leave me feeling quite incapacitate.
So give me paws and canine charms,
Away from humans' mental storms,
For dogs make me happy, clear and loud,
While humans make my head a cloud.
