Illusions of Dawn

Oh, look, it’s morning, the sun's on high,

All your problems just waved goodbye?

Think again, dear, don't be so quick,

Troubles don't vanish with a clock's click.

Birds are singing, sky's so blue,

Surely that means your debts are through?

Dream on, friend, as if light's a fix,

Reality’s waiting with its bag of tricks.

Morning coffee, warm and bright,

Must mean your life's now pure delight?

Get real, sunshine, it’s all a game,

The same old issues, just a different name.

So bask in daylight, feel the cheer,

But don’t forget, those woes are near,

Morning’s charm is a fleeting friend,

Your troubles, darling, never end.

Morning's light may promise a fresh start, but our troubles don't vanish with the night; they persist, reminding us that true resolution requires more than just the arrival of a new day.
