Oh, morning's here, the sun's delight,
With chirping birds, such pure delight,
You morning folks with endless cheer,
I'd love it if you'd disappear.
With perky smiles and coffee cups,
Your endless chat that never stops,
It's six a.m., for goodness' sake,
Such boundless joy is hard to take.
You greet the dawn with songs and glee,
While I just crave my bed, you see,
Your energy, oh, such a jest,
When all I want is more time to rest.
So sing your songs and sip your brew,
Rejoice in morning's rosy hue,
I'll scowl and groan, I'll roll my eyes,
Your morning bliss I do despise.
In their world of coffee-fueled exuberance and radiant smiles, I found myself both amused and slightly envious. Perhaps there's something to be said for embracing the day with such fervor, but for now, I'll continue to grumble from beneath my blankets, silently scoffing at their morning bliss while secretly longing for just a few more minutes of shut-eye
