In the stillness of old age, we often find ourselves contemplating the profound tapestry of existence we've woven.
Sometimes, in our old age, there are those days when it feels like we are just sitting alone waiting to die. It’s a heavy thought, isn’t it?
The house feels quieter, the hours longer, and the weight of memories can press down like a heavy blanket. But maybe, in those moments, there’s also a chance to reflect on the richness of our experiences—the laughter shared, the love felt, the little victories and the lessons learned.
Even as we sit in the stillness, perhaps there’s a beauty in simply being, in existing with the tapestry of a life well-lived woven around us. And maybe, just maybe, in those quiet moments, we can find a kind of peace, knowing that we've left our mark on the world in our own unique way.
In the quiet of our aging days,
When the world slows down, and silence weighs,
We sit alone, reflecting on the past,
Wondering how time slipped by so fast.
