The Contract is a movie starring Morgan Freeman and John Cusack. It is about a professional assassin named Carden who is hired to kill a billionaire who opposes stem cell research. However, his plan goes wrong when he gets into a car accident and is captured by the authorities. He is then rescued by his men, but they are pursued by a teacher named Keene and his son, who witnessed the escape. Keene tries to bring Carden to justice, while Carden tries to complete his mission and get rid of his pursuers.
The movie was directed by Bruce Beresford and written by Stephen Katz and John Darrouzet.
