Spooky Tooth was a British rock band formed in 1967, blending blues, hard rock, and psychedelic influences. Originally known as Art, they changed their name after American keyboardist/vocalist Gary Wright joined.
Their most famous album, Spooky Two (1969), featured the track "Better by You, Better Than Me," later covered by Judas Priest. The band's lineup included Mike Harrison (vocals), Luther Grosvenor (guitar), and Mick Jones (who later formed Foreigner).

When Art transitioned into Spooky Tooth, they were joined by Gary Wright on keyboards and vocals, which significantly shaped their sound. Greg Ridley later joined Humble Pie, while Luther Grosvenor played with Mott the Hoople under the name Ariel Bender.
