Foals is a British indie rock band formed in 2005 in Oxford, England. Known for their energetic performances and intricate sound, they blend elements of indie rock, math rock, and dance-punk.
The band consists of lead vocalist and guitarist Yannis Philippakis, drummer Jack Bevan, and keyboardist Edwin Congreave (who left in 2021).
Their breakthrough came with the debut album Antidotes (2008), followed by critically acclaimed records like Total Life Forever (2010), Holy Fire (2013), and What Went Down (2015).
