Canned Biscuit Filled Donuts

Ohhhhh YES!

I fill my donuts with an vanilla cream, but they’re still awesome just rolled in sugar.

The possibilities are endless

with fillings, like jelly, cheesecake filling, chocolate/vanilla cream…

whatever your heart desires!

Pictured Boston Cream

Ingredients

• 1 can 8 count biscuits texas style buttermilk ( not the flaky kind)

• vegetable oil for frying

Filling and Toppings

VANILLA FILLING

• 1/4 cup solid vegetable shortening

• 1/4 cup butter or margarine

• 2 cups sifted confectioners' sugar

• 1/2 teaspoon clear vanilla extract

• 1 tablespoon milk

CINNAMON AND SUGAR

• 1 stick butter ; melted

• 1 c sugar mixed with cinnamon

FRUIT FILLED :

• 1 1/2 c lemon curd or strawberry curd

BOSTON CREAM :

• 1 sm. box instant french vanilla pudding

• 1 1/2 c milk8 oz whipped topping

• 1 can(s) chocolate frosting

GLAZE :

• 1 c powdered sugar

• 1 Tbsp butter, room temperature

• 2-3 Tbsp milk
