Getting old, a journey unique
A path we all must eventually seek
The wrinkles and the graying hair
A sign that life is beyond repair
The memories, they flood our mind
Of laughter, love, and joys we’ve find
But with each year that comes and goes
We know that youth forever goes
We slow down, we can’t keep pace
Our bodies don’t move with the same grace
But despite all that age can bring
We still feel love, laughter and everything
So let us embrace each day with glee
Forgetting our worries and being carefree
Forgetting all that life can do
And just live in the moment, me and you
For though we may be getting old
Our spirit will never grow cold
So let us cherish every day
And find new reasons to laugh and play. - Belle Webb
