Anger, a Flame That Burns So Bright

Updated: Feb 7, 2023

Anger, a flame that burns so bright,

A fire that consumes both day and night.

A storm that rages, uncontrolled and wild,

An emotion that can make one act so vile.

It clouds the mind, it twists the heart,

It tears apart the peace that was once a part.

It fuels revenge, it drives the hate,

It leaves one with a spirit far from great.

But anger can also be a source of power,

A driving force in a defining hour.

It can spur one on, to rise above,

To stand tall and show the world one's love.

So use it wisely, let it not consume,

For anger, left unchecked, will lead to doom.

Harness it, channel it, let it be a tool,

And use it to bring about positive change, and rule. - Belle Webb
