A pair of souls, weathered and gray,
Walk hand in hand along life's way.
Their steps are slow, their eyesight dim,
But their love burns bright, despite their age's trim.
They've lived a lifetime, together as one,
Through hardships and joys, their journey's been fun.
Their faces etched with lines and creases,
But their hearts are full of love and sweet embraces.
They've weathered storms, both great and small,
Their love has stood the test of time, standing tall.
Through health and sickness, they've stayed together,
A bond that only time could tether.
Their memories now, are all they hold,
As they near the end, and grow old.
Their love, a beacon that guides them on,
Through the trials of life, until the dawn.
And when their time, at last, has come,
Their souls will soar, forever as one.
Their legacy, a love that's pure,
A testament to a life, well-endured.
So let us all, take heart and see,
The love that binds, so beautifully,
An old couple, nearing the end of life,
Still holding hands, and braving the strife.
